The Boys Basketball Booster Club is an integral part of the basketball program at Mesquite High School. The boosters depend on the support of parents and guardians to make sure our boys have everything they need to succeed both on and off the court.
The Booster Club exists to give parents and club members a way to support the program through cooperation and involvement — helping improve the school's basketball facilities, meet the teams' needs, and strengthen communication between the program and the student body and wider community.
The club provides support for items and activities not covered by the school, including supplemental coaching stipends, tournament fees, team equipment, team meals, upkeep of the team website, Hudl game-film access, the end-of-season team banquet, Frosh/JV/Varsity MVP awards, gifts for graduating seniors, team apparel, Senior Night recognition, and banners.
How Parents Can Help
Work the concession stand
Every family is asked to help — if your son plays on a team, we ask you to cover a shift during one of the earlier games that day. If each family works 5–6 games across the season, the stand stays fully staffed.
Team meal support
We need help arranging team meals for the Freshman and JV games — reach out if you're able to help manage this.
Snap Raise fundraiser
Help your athlete reach their goal of entering 20 valid email addresses into the Snap Raise system — not everyone donates, but it adds up. Email the boosters if you have questions about your son's progress.
Arizona tax credit donations
Donations reduce your Arizona state tax liability dollar for dollar, up to $200 (individual) or $400 (joint). Use the Secondary Tax Credit form, note Mesquite High School, and designate funds to Boys Basketball under Athletics.
