Welcome Back, Wildcats!
Wildcat Family — what an incredible summer. I couldn't be more proud of the commitment our players showed over the past few months: every workout, practice, and competition was a chance to build something bigger than basketball. All summer, this team lived out the values that define our program — togetherness, hard work, accountability, and relentless effort — and that foundation has us excited for the season ahead.
A Note to Our Players
The work doesn't stop just because summer is over. Championship programs are built by the players who keep preparing when no one's watching. Stay in shape, keep developing your skills, and build the habits of a successful student-athlete — be disciplined in the classroom, represent Mesquite with pride, and make the choices that set you up for success on and off the court. Keep showing up to Wildcat Workouts and make the most of every chance to improve. Every workout, every lift, every shot, every day matters.
A Note to Our Parents
Thank you for your continued support — your encouragement makes a real difference for our players and coaching staff. As the school year gets started, a few reminders:
- Join the Athletic Director's Wildcat Athletic Parent Meeting — Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 6:00 PM
- Complete your student's Rank One registration (replacing RegisterMyAthlete — more details soon)
- Stay connected through the team website and our communication platforms for schedules, announcements, and updates
- Tryouts are set for Monday, November 2 through Thursday, November 5, 2026
Booster Club
Our Booster Club has been hard at work getting ready for another great season, and we're grateful to the parents who've already stepped up. We're always looking for more parents and family members to get involved — whether that's volunteering at an event, helping organize team meals, pitching in with fundraising, working concessions, or just lending a hand where it's needed. A program is built by its whole community, not just the players and coaches, and every bit of involvement helps create opportunities for our student-athletes. Looking Ahead
More details on the season, parent meetings, schedules, booster activities, and team events are coming in the weeks ahead. We're excited for the journey — together, we'll keep building a program grounded in toughness, selflessness, discipline, and pride.
